In order to best serve our students we need your help. Everyone has talents that can be valuable in helping the students at PPS Mifflin. What is your talent?
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
Lunch/Recess Volunteers–Are you available in the middle of the day? This could be a great volunteer opportunity for you. Come out and help organize games, crafts or other activities during the lunch hour.
Teacher Appreciation–Our teachers do so much for our children, so let’s show them how much we care. Join a committee that focuses on teacher appreciation throughout the year, including during teacher appreciation week.
Family Nights–Are you creative? Do you like to plan events? Then this is the committee for you. Throughout the year, we would like to plan various Family Fun Nights in order to bring together the Mifflin community. We need all of your ideas.
Fun Day–Fun Day is exactly that….FUN! We need volunteers to work on the Fun Day committee to plan this end of the year event that is loved by the children of Mifflin.
Fundraising–We are always looking for people that know how to raise money. The more money we raise, the more opportunities we can bring to Mifflin for our children. We are looking for a Fundraising Chair, as well as fundraising committee members.
Communications–Are you good with words? Are you the Queen/King of Social Media? Then this is the committee for you. We are looking for volunteers to assist with the website, social media, newsletters and other communications between the school, families and the community.
Classroom Volunteers–Are you available during the day? Do you like working with kids? You might be our next classroom volunteer.
Clubs–Can you play chess? Are you great at arts and crafts? Do you enjoy photography? There are so many talents that members of our Mifflin community possess. What if you share them with the students of Mifflin?
